The Tri-Community Health and Welness Foundation, formerly the Stony Plain Hospital Foundation continues the excellent work set out by foundations acress Alberta.
We provide funding to three major areas, the first being the Westview Health Centre.
We sponsor the following programs:
- Acute Care
- Care Shared Maternity Program
- Community Care
- Continuing Care
- Education for Staff
- Health & Welness in General
The second major area of support is the TransAlta Tri Lesiure Centre(TLC). We believe that active living promotes happier and healthier individuals.
We support the TLC in providing opportunity for low income families or seniors to take advantage of the facilities by providing them passes. We have also made it possible for the Rick Hansen Foundation and the MS Society of Alberta to provide dollars to the TLC to enhance access for those dollars with disabilities.
The third area of support is Community Health & Welness Programming.
We support various partners with one time or long term programs or projects that promote: Helath choices, active living and empowerment.

- Empowering Youth
- Multi Cultural Heritage Centre and their Multi Youth Productions
- Multi Cultural Heritage Centre and their Senior’s Nostalgia Program
- Clean Scene for Youth Network
- Single Parent Circle
- Rural Women’s Conference
- Tri Communties Senior’s Festival and Equipment.
